Here is a selection of questions that I am asked on a regular basis relating to my photography services.


Wedding Photography

What types of photography do you provide at a wedding?

I provide a combination of styles, capturing moments as they happen with a candid approach, and setting up more traditional album-style shots. If possible, I enjoy spending around 15 minutes alone with bride and groom usually between ceremony and reception to set up some traditional shots around the place of the wedding or reception. I also like to take some time with the rest of the bridal party, and I enjoy getting a large group photo of everyone present at the wedding ceremony.

I am there to document your big day, and will capture every element of it. I usually discuss the types of images I can take with the bride and groom prior to the wedding date, and if you have a particular image in mind then please do ask me about it!


Will you photograph guests or just the bridal party?

I love to photograph guests at a wedding, and am very willing to photograph them in their own family groups as well as with the bride and groom.


Why don't you stay until the end of a wedding, rather than leave at the First Dance?

There are practical reasons as to why most photographers don't stay much later than this - it is difficult for guests to relax and celebrate with the bride and groom if they are nervous about a photographer capturing photos of them all night, particularly after a few glasses of wine! It is usually low-light conditions which are not ideal for the best photography, and it also allows the guests to take their own images without the interference of a photographer hovering in the background.


When and how do I pay for wedding photography?

After a consultation with myself to discuss your particular wedding, 50% of the overall total guarantees my wedding photography service. The remaining 50% is paid when you recieve your photography DVD or prints. I accept cash, cheque or paypal payments, which can be arranged if required.
